NORTH PLATTE Neb. – On Tuesday a decision was made among the City Council at City Hall that most concerned citizens are happy with.
The city ordinance was created in 1975 banned conceal and carry in city parks. When signs banning conceal and carry made their first sudden appearance, citizens of North Platte began to voice their concern.
On August 7th Council Member James Carman moved to repeal the ordinance. The issue was tabled, and was repealed on the following meeting August 21st on a vote from 6-2.
