Robert R. Boltz, 83, of North Platte, passed away August 27, 2012 at Great Plains Regional Medical Center. He was born June 5, 1929 to Joseph and Elizabeth Kehr Boltz at Brunswick, NE. On Oct. 24, 1949, he was united in marriage to Lillian I. Jones (better known as Ilene) at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in North Platte. Robert farmed south of North Platte and was a ranch hand in Brule, Big Springs, Grant, Dix and Harrisburg. He later worked at Wal-Mart for over 18 years. He enjoyed reading and watching western movies. Robert is survived by two daughters, Linda Jimenez of Lincoln and Ruth (Kevin) Cusic of North Platte; four sons, Ronald Boltz, Bernie Boltz both of North Platte, John (Patty) Boltz of Hastings and James (Suzanne) Boltz of Lincoln; 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a son, Thomas, a daughter, Rebecca; and his siblings: Leo Boltz, Cyril Boltz, Florence Boltz, Geneva Meyer, and Raymond Boltz. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2012 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with Father Mark Seiker officiating. Burial will be at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wed and 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
