The North Platte Bulldogs improved to 2-1 on the softball season with a 10-6 win over Lexington last night at the Dowhower Softball Complex. North Platte banged out 14 hits in the win, with Kaite Franzen going 3-for-3 at the top of the order and scoring three runs to pace the offensive effort. Ashten Hernandez went the distance in the circle for the victory, striking out seven. The Bulldogs head to Kearney on Thursday for a double dual, where they will face Lincoln High and Lincoln East.
