On Friday Secretary of State John Gale joined the opening ceremony and shared with the crowd his family’s history with
the Union Pacific Railroad.
Gale was presented a medallion on behalf of the Union Pacific as well as in honor of the 150th UP Anniversary. The award Gale was presented is only achieved by award and cannot be purchased anywhere.
Following the opening ceremony John Gale agreed to conduct an interview with North Platte Post.
