The Denver Broncos have largely stayed clear of the injury bug through two weeks of the regular season. One of their few injured players, cornerback Chris Harris, was hopeful to return to action this week, but sat out yesterday’s practice. Harris sprained his ankle in the season opening game and was inactive in Monday night’s loss to Atlanta, with Tony Carter deputizing for him at nickleback. Guard Chris Kuper is back to on-field conditioning as he recovers from a broken forearm. The Broncos don’t expect him back to practice for another week at least.
