The Denver Broncos acquired return specialist Trindon Holliday on waivers. Holliday was waived by the Houston Texans earlier this week. Both the Broncos and Colts put in waiver claims, but the Broncos worse record gave them waiver priority. Holliday returned a kick and two punts for touchdowns during the preseason. The 5’6” rookie is a former college sprint champion. He’ll take over for Jim Leonhard on punt returns and join Omar Bolden on kickoff returns. The Broncos take on the San Diego Chargers this coming Monday night.
