On Friday, November 2nd, nine bomb threats were received by county courthouses, each in a different county.
According to the Nebraska State Patrol, each threat was made by phone between 11:06 and 11:36 this morning. The county courthouses that received the threats were Cass, Gage, Jefferson, Johnson, Lancaster, Otoe, Richardson, Saline and Seward counties, Otoe county was the first and Landcaster county was the last.
The NSP says that each threat was made by a male who explained that there was an explosive device in the courthouse.
The buildings were evacuated and no credible threat was found in any of the buildings that received a call.
The NSP is asking for anyone with information that will aid to the investigation into the source of the calls to contact their local law enforcement agency.
