A body found at the Scotts Bluff National Monument on Sunday has been identified as a 22-year-old man of Scottsbluff.
According to the Scotts Bluff County sheriff, Mark Overman, the body was identified as Cody Bindschadler. The body was found east of the walking tunnel at the monument on Sunday afternoon.
Overman told radio station, KNEB, that Bindschadler had fallen off a non-public area that was higher up and east of the Saddle Rock Trail walking tunnel.
According to officials, a death hasn’t occurred at the monument for around 15 years.
