On November 25th, in the early morning hours, two male suspects allegedly broke into an apartment, in the 3900 block of West 2nd Street, and roughed-up two people inside.
After breaking into the apartment, according to the news release from the North Platte Police Department, suspect, 24-year-old Marcus Condon, allegedly hit the female in the face. The female victim and Condon were allegedly ‘domestic partners’ at some point before the assault.
Officers found that the residence had been forcibly entered and a male and female victim had been allegedly assaulted. A female victim alleged that the suspect and prior domestic partner, Marcus T. Condon, 24, broke into the residence and struck her in the face.
During the attack a male victim was also reportedly punched and choked unconscious by a second suspect, Benjamin L. Keck, 25. Along with the doorway to the residence, a television was also damaged.
The second suspect, 25-year-old Benjamin Keck, reportedly punched the male victim and choked him until he went unconscious.
A doorway and a television were damaged from the incident.
The police responded to the report of a disturbance at around 4:30AM, by then both suspects had left the scene.
With probable cause for arrest, Keck and an investigator with the NPPD made contact three days later and was cited for Burglary (because he forcibly entered the apartment), Strangulation and Criminal Mischief.
Condon was cited for 3rd degree domestic assault, 2nd degree criminal trespassing and criminal mischief.
