Billie Lee Effenbeck, age 76 of Maxwell, passed away December 4, 2012 at Centennial Park Retirement Village in North Platte.
Billie was born March 20, 1936 in North Platte. She was adopted at an early age by Harve and Maime Feathers. She lived her entire life at Maxwell.
On June 26, 1954 she married Walt Effenbeck.
Billie is survived by her sons Danny Effenbeck of Maxwell and Roger (Chris) Effenbeck of North Platte; three granddaughters Kristi Wilson of Grand Island, Shawna (Erik) Cassen of Topeka, KS and Whitney (Justin) Petska of North Platte; and seven great grandchildren Deon, Dillon, Yorick and Shawn Wilson of Grand Island, Glenn Cassen of Topeka, KS and Kylie and Tyler Engleman of North Platte.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Walt on December 18, 1992.
A memorial has been established in her name and online condolences may be made at www.adamsswanson.com. Cremation was chosen. Memorial services will be Monday December 10, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Adams and Swanson Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell. Those wishing to do so may sign the register book Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6:00 p.m. Adams and Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
