North Platte Library Brown Bag Luncheon

The Friends of the Library are hosting a Brown Bag Luncheon Series Program at the library at 12:00 PM on Thursday, December 13th. Based on the newly published book, City Bones, Kaycee Anderson and George Lauby will be presenting historic information and photography of North Platte’s downtown buildings. Some of the buildings that will be discussed tell the story of “Little Chicago,” when gambling and prostitution was common. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and autographs.

Don’t miss this exciting local history program! It’s free to attend. Seating is limited to 70 people so please call the library at 535-8036 for seating reservations. Attendees may bring their own lunch. Coffee, tea and water will be provided.
