The Denver Nuggets shook off a slow start and picked up a road victory, topping the Detroit Pistons 101-94 last night at the Palace of Auburn Hills. The Nuggets missed 10 of their first 11 shots and trailed by as many as 17 in the first quarter but roared back to take a six-point lead at the half. They would not relinquish that lead in the second half on their way to the win. Ty Lawson led the Nuggets with 26 points and seven assists. The Nuggets get back to .500 at 11-11 with the win. They wrap up their five game road trip in Minnesota against the Timberwolves tonight. Tip-off is set for 7 PM.
