Pat and Kathleen Keenan were honored Saturday by the North Platte Catholic Schools with the “Wall of Honor” Award. The award is the highest recognition given by the school, and is extended to members of the school community who have made enduring significant impact on the school and its operations.
The Keenans have both been involved in the major decisions and directions of the school through membership on the School Board or the Endowment Board. They are involved in the Activities Association and have been involved in many committees and study groups.
Their leadership, financially and in planning for the funding and construction of the new McDaid Elementary, was pivotal to the success of that significant event in the school’s history. They have been involved in most major decisions at the school for the past quarter-century. The “Wall of Honor” plaque was presented Saturday evening at the St. Pats-Cozad basketball game, and will be displayed with those of previous inductees in the McDaid commons area.
