The 13th-ranked Husker wrestling team couldn’t pull off the upset of top-ranked Penn State, falling in dual action 33-9 in University Park yesterday. 149-pound sophomore Jake Sueflohn and 174-pound sophomore Robert Kokesh pulled off victories for the Huskers. Both defeated opponents ranked in the top three nationally in their weight class. Sueflohn’s win was a pin while Kokesh won by decision. The Huskers host Michigan State in dual action on Friday night.
