Authorities say a 31-year-old man was fatally injured and another man injured in a northeast Omaha shooting.

Omaha police say the shooting occurred a little before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Officers who were dispatched to the scene found a wounded man in the street. He was identified as Willie Hill.

Police say Hill was taken to Nebraska Medical Center, where he later died.

Another man injured in the same shooting was taken in a private vehicle to Creighton Hospital. He’s been identified as 34-year-old Xavier Goodes. He’s expected to survive his injuries.

No arrests have been reported.
