The Colorado Rockies continue to dumpster-dive for starting pitching. The Denver Post reports the Rockies have offered 39-year old righthander Derek Lowe a minor league contract. Lowe went 9-11 with a 5.11 ERA in 38 games with Cleveland and the Yankees last season. For now, Lowe has rebuffed the Rockies’ advances, preferring to hold out for a guaranteed contract.
