Rockies, Fowler Agree on Two-Year Deal

The Colorado Rockies have agreed to terms with center fielder Dexter Fowler on a two-year contract worth $11.6 million. The contract ensures the team will avoid the arbitration process with Fowler until 2015. The 27-year old Fowler was one of the few bright spots for the Rockies in 2012. He had a break-out season, batting .300 with 15 home runs and 53 RBI to set career highs in all three categories.
