Dawn Alene Renfrow, 53, of North Platte, NE passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Bryan LGH in Lincoln, NE.
Dawn was born July 28, 1959, at Sidney, NE to Henry Gene and JoAn Chrisman Hauser. She grew up in California and Missouri, graduating high school from Warsaw, MO in 1977. She met Raymond Alvin Renfrow in 1991 at Boise, ID. They were married on January 22, 1999, in North Platte where they made their home. Dawn worked for Knoble Refrigeration before going to work for Home Instead as a caregiver in 2008.
Dawn loved to crochet and do jigsaw puzzles, crafts and scrap booking. She was a friend to everyone and would help anybody. She was a rock to many and always smiling. Dawn was a great mom and wife.
Dawn is survived by her husband, Ray, daughter, Jessica Renfrow, and her mother, JoAn Hauser, all of North Platte; four sisters, Debbie (Steve) Silva, of Roseville, CA, Rhonda (Mike) Guess, of Auburn, CA, Suzanne (Phil) Ramage, of Sandy, UT and Kelley (Mike) Dailey, of Maxwell, NE; two brothers, Jeffrey (Trudi) Hauser, of Irmo, SC and Toby (Angie) Hauser, of Lincoln, NE; many nieces, nephews and other family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Hauser.
Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday, February, 16, 2013, at the Maxwell Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Allen officiating. The memorial book may be signed at odeanchapel.com or from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Odean Colonial Chapel At C & Sycamore which is in charge of arrangements.
