Ty Lawson and Andre Iguodala combined for 59 points as the Denver Nuggets held off the Portland Trail Blazers 111-109 last night in Portland. Andre Miller’s layup with 24 seconds left broke a 106-all tie. The Blazers had a chance to win in the final seconds but LaMarcus’ Aldridge’s buzzer-beater went begging. The win is Denver’s third in a row. They’re back in action Friday night hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder.
