The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission plans to consider changes to regulations for hunting big game.
The commission’s board will meet March 8 in Kearney, and a public hearing will be at 8 a.m. Commissioners are expected to start discussion on big game regulations at 8:45 a.m.
The board will consider several changes to permits and regulations for hunting antelope, deer and elk, as well as changes to hunting season start dates.
The board also will consider allowing hunting in Western Nebraska Ash Hollow and Rock Creek Station state historical parks.
