The Nebraska Game and Parks Board of Commissioners has postponed making a decision on big game hunting recommendations for the year.
The board met Friday in Kearney.
The board is considering several changes to permits and regulations for hunting antelope, deer and elk, as well as changes to hunting season start dates. The board will consider amended recommendations at its May 24 meeting in Chadron.
The board did approve in a vote Friday a change to allow some hunting in Western Nebraska Ash Hollow and Rock Creek Station state historical parks.
