A 24-year-old North Platte woman was arraigned Monday, charged with two counts of possession of methamphetamine and one count of possession of a legend drug.
Cortney Lopez is charged with possessing meth and Klonopin. Klonopin is a drug used to treat seizure disorder and is also used to control panic and anxiety disorder.
Lopez was recently charged with another count of possessing methamphetamine, so the new charges violate the terms of her conditional release.
Judge Kent Turnbull, set Lopez’s bond at $10,000 for the most recent charges, and a court date has not yet been set as she awaits the appointment of a public defender.
