The North Platte Community College Lady Knights resume play in the consolation bracket at the NJCAA Division II National Tournament in East Peoria, Illinois today. After a 63-35 loss to top-seed Mesa Community College in round one on Tuesday, the Lady Knights drop into the eight-team losers bracket and can finish as high as seventh nationally with three straight wins. One more loss, however, is season-ending. This afternoon, the Lady Knights take on Iowa Central Community College. The Tritons are the eighth seed in the 16-team tourney. They fell to Monroe College 87-84 in their first round contest on Tuesday afternoon. A win for the Lady Knights today would be their first in two trips to the national tournament. Tipoff between the Lady Knights and the Tritons is set for 11 AM.
