Rosemarie G. Cooper, 88, of North Platte, passed away April 1, 2013, at her home.
Rosemarie was born on Jan. 22, 1925, in Aaechen, Germany.
Rosemarie moved to the United States in the early 1940s where she met George Cooper. They married on Aug. 8, 1954, and moved to North Platte. She worked at Great Plains Regional Medical Center where she was head of the Histology Department. She enjoyed making crafts, especially Christmas ornaments.
She was preceeded in death by her mother, Anita Consten; her daughter, Lori McNare; and sister, Lore Kettler.
She is survived by her son, Paul Cooper; her daughters, Heidi Cooper and Michelle (Emerald) Miller; eight grandchildren, Kyle (Anna) Johnson, Amy (Dominic) Rioux, Lisa and Katie Daniels, Casey and Kelby McNare and Zach and Michael Miller; six great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Carl McNare.

A memorial mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 5, at Carpenter Memorial Chapel. Cremation was chosen. Those wishing to sign the register book may do so from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, through Thursday, April 4, at Carpenter Memorial Chapel.
