A 47-year-old man from Friend has died in a rollover crash in southeast Nebraska.

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office says the accident occurred just before 7 p.m. Tuesday on County Road 500, south of Friend.

The office says a sport utility vehicle driven by John Alfredson went out of control, ran into a roadside ditch and rolled, ejecting Alfredson.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
