Former Husker women’s basketball standout Lindsey Moore was a first-round draft pick in last night’s WNBA Draft. She was selected 12th overall by the Minnesota Lynx. Moore was a four-year starter at point guard for the Huskers and departed as the winningest player in program history, guiding the Big Red to Sweet 16 appearances as a freshman and as a senior. She also holds program records for games started and assists. Moore is the third former Husker to be a WNBA first-round pick.
