Nebraska’s memorable Red-White Spring Game was the best attended spring scrimmage in the country. A crowd of 60,174 die-hard fans witnessed the scrimmage, which included seven year-old Jack Hoffman’s tear-jerking touchdown run in the fourth quarter. That attendance topped the second-most attended spring game, at Kentucky, by nearly 10,000 fans. Only three other schools claimed spring game attendance of over 40,000 fans.
