No. 18 Huskers Sweep Gophers

The 18th-ranked Husker softball team earned a double-header sweep of Minnesota in Big Ten play yesterday in Lincoln. Game one saw the Huskers come back from an early deficit for a 3-2 win. Emily Lockman retired the final 13 batters she faced in the circle to help make the comeback possible. Game two was the Tatum Edwards show. The junior two-way standout threw a three-hit shutout and blasted a grand slam for the game’s only runs in a 4-0 win. The Huskers are 32-9 overall and 10-3 in league play. They open a three-game series at Purdue on Friday.
