The 18th-ranked Husker softball team was unable to finish off a sweep on Sunday, falling to Purdue 6-5. After taking the first two games of the series in a doubleheader on Saturday, the Huskers fell behind 5-1 after one inning and were unable to mount a comeback due in large part to leaving 10 runners on base. Tatum Edwards, Gabby Banda and Jordan Bettiol each had two hits in the loss. Nebraska falls to 12-4 in the Big Ten and 34-10 overall. They host Creighton Wednesday night.
