Rockies Walk Off in Comeback Victory

Yorvit Torrealba’s RBI single in the 11th inning gave the Colorado Rockies a 6-5 walk-off win over the Atlanta Braves yesterday at Coors Field. The Rockies trailed 5-3 heading to the ninth inning, but rallied against Atlanta’s All-Star closer, Craig Kimbrel. Dexter Fowler’s two-run double with two outs tied the game and sent it to extra frames. In the 11th, Wilin Rosario led off with a double and scored on Torrealba’s base hit to left field three batters later. The win snaps a three-game losing skid for the Rockies. Tonight the Rockies begin a seven-game divisional road trip with the first of four games against the Diamondbacks in Arizona. Jorge de la Rosa looks to keep his 17-inning scoreless streak alive as he gets the start on the mound for Colorado. ESPN Radio 1410 will bring you the action, with pregame coverage at 8:05 and the first pitch at 8:40.
