Rockies Fall to D-Backs

A pitcher’s duel in the desert saw the Colorado Rockies end up on the short end of a 3-2 score against the Arizona Diamondbacks in the first game of a four-game series. Paul Goldschmidt’s two-run homer off Rockies starter Jorge de la Rosa in the fourth inning was the decisive blow. De la Rosa allowed three runs in six strong innings of work. Troy Tulowitzki had the lone RBI for the Rockies. The teams play game two of their series tonight. ESPN Radio 1410 has the action with the pregame show at 8:05 and first pitch at 8:40.
