Rosetta Marie Moriarty, age 92, of Paxton passed away May 9, 2013 at Linden Court. She was born August 19, 1920 in Paxton to Vernal and Flora Ward Coleman. Rosetta grew up in the Sarben area, graduating from Shelby high School. In November 1939 she married Lewis Moriarty near Paxton. The couple lived near Hershey for a short while before settling on the home place north of Paxton. The two worked together on the ranch for many years.
Rosetta will be remembered for her yard, garden and fruit trees. She enjoyed her family as the center of her life!
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Leeds of Riverdale, NE, Neva (Dean) Rolls of Hastings and Joy (Arlen) Connell of Tryon; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Jerry (Carla) Hilger of Michigan; and a sister-in-law, Roberta Coleman of Imperial.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Eva Hilger; great-granddaughter, Shasta Bosshamer; and a brother, Glen Coleman.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2013 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home with the Reverend Duane Dunwoody officiating. Visitation will be noon until 6:00 p.m. today and Sunday at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
