Jamie Ray Osborne, “Ozz Man”, 59, of Sutherland, passed away on May 9, 2013.
Jamie was born July 25, 1953, in North Platte to William (Bill) and Hazel Beatrice (Bokoskie) Osborne-Funk.
He grew up in North Platte and later moved to Sutherland with his family. He graduated from Sutherland High School with the class of 1972.
He was a respectable car hauler. He enjoyed traveling from state to state, stopping to visit ole Hydes along the way. He loved them all. He enjoyed taking his grandkids to the lake every summer to camp and swim. It was the highlight of their summer.
He was preceded in death by his father, William (Bill) Osborne; his brothers, Kerby Joe Osborne and Teddy Bill Funk; daughter-in-law, Laura Ward-Osborne; and grandparents, Joe and Ethel Osborne-Wilcox, Louis and Hazel Bokoskie, and William E. and Verna Funk.
Jamie is survived by his children, William John “Bill,” of Hershey, and Laicie (Jason) Clark, of Kearney; his grandchildren, Tyson, Karlie and Tagert Osborne, all of Hershey, Kiana, Kiara and Kia’lee Clark, all of Kearney; his parents, Hazel Beatrice and Charles Funk, of Sutherland; his brothers, Terry (Carolyn) Osborne, of Sutherland, Rocky (Joyce) Osborne, of Shepherd, Mont.; his sisters, Linda (Mike) Boyle, of Hershey, and Sonya (Fito) Borunda, of Sutherland; his nephews, Shawn, Trampas and Wylie; and nieces, Elery, Shawna, Ericka, Camille, Taylor and Charlee.

Services will be at 6 p.m., Friday, May 17, at the Sutherland American Legion Hall. Inurnment will be at a later date. Cremation was chosen. Those wishing to sign the register book may do so from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., today through Friday, May 17, at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
