Juanita June (Krumm) Frerichs, 82, of Greeley, Colo., passed away May 26, 2013, at Hospice of Northern Colorado.
She was born on July 12, 1930, in Sidney, to Henry and Alma (Limbeck) Krumm. She moved to North Platte with her parents in 1936. She attended school in North Platte and graduated from North Platte High School in 1948.
On Jan. 2, 1954, she married Robert Frerichs in North Platte.
Juanita worked for Northwestern Bell from 1948-57 in North Platte, Ogallala and Gothenburg as an operator and central office clerk. She also was trained to work with the U.S. Air Defense Command. She moved to Greeley a second time in 1959 and was a partner and bookkeeper at Bob’s Westview TV from 1968-80. She then was a cashier and telephone receptionist at Everitt Lumber Company from 1980-91. She was a secretary-receptionist for the Scott Morris AAL Agency from 1992-99.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she volunteered many hours at Trinity Lutheran School and PTL, while her children attended, and she continued to volunteer at the church in her later years. She enjoyed needlework, crossword puzzles, square dancing, bookwork, gardening, being involved with her family, especially her grandchildren, and being a Stampede Wrangler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; and her parents.
Juanita is survived by two daughters, Marla Gryboski and Rhonda Frerichs, both of Greeley; a son, Dennis (Linda) Frerichs, of Loveland, Colo.; her grandsons, Steven Gryboski, of Greeley, Alec and Bret Frerichs, of Loveland; a granddaughter, Traci Jo Finn, of Greeley; two great-grandchildren, Katie Mahan, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Colt Finn, of Greeley; and her sisters, Lyla (John) Buuck, of Milwaukee, Wis., and Bonita Springs, Fla., and Ardis (Lou) Krafft, of Frankenmuth, Minn.
