Two North Platte residents were cited for drug possession after getting busted at the Wild West Arena.

At around 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, North Platte Police Officers assigned to work security at the Wild West Arena during Midwest Championship Fighting 7 were advised by two private security staff members that they had observed several people smoking from a pipe.

They showed the officers where the suspects, Kylee Knott and Christopher Greene were seated.  As Officers approached, they witnessed Knott toss a pipe onto the ground in front of Greene.

Following further investigation, Officers determined there was probable cause to cite both Knott and Greene for Possession of Hashish.

The North Platte Police Department would like to remind those attending NEBRASKAland Days events at the Arena that they will be banned from any future events if they are involved in criminal activity or disturbances, and run the risk of being arrested and jailed for trespassing.
