Officials Release Identity of Missing South Sioux City Man

south-sioux-city(AP) — Nebraska officials have released the name of a man who was swept away by the swift current in the Missouri River at South Sioux City.

He was identified as 25-year-old Anthony Campbell.

A woman who was with him told police that he’d gone into the water at Scenic Park Campground around 4 a.m. Friday.

Four boats, including two equipped with side-scanning sonar, have joined the search, as have a dive team and firefighters.
