(AP) — Applications from incoming freshmen are being sought for the World Leaders Camp at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

The free camp will take place July 22-26. It is aimed at exposing freshmen to international issues while promoting cultural awareness. Students will also learn about UNK’s Study Abroad programs and meet UNK faculty members.

Students will receive lodging plus three meals each day. All of the transportation associated with the camp and admission to events and exhibits will be provided.

Fifteen students will be selected. Students can apply at http://www.unk.edu/WorldLeadersCamp/ . The deadline is July 5.
