(AP) — Authorities say a 61-year-old man has been fatally shot by his 36-year-old son while breaking into the son’s home in eastern Nebraska.

Cass County deputies were dispatched to the home in Wabash around 3:15 a.m. Sunday.

Deputies say Gary Bouzek was a transient and that he and his son, David Bouzek, were estranged.

No arrests or charges have been reported. The investigation is continuing.
