A Blair woman is facing several felony charges after she became combative with Police and medical personnel.

At around 1:30 a.m. on June 15, North Platte Police responded to the Motel 6 parking lot on the report of a suspicious female in dark clothing wearing a gas mask and attempting to get into vehicles parked at the motel.

While officers were on the scene, another witness recalled seeing a similar female dressed in a white dress wearing a gas mask.

A short time later, 30-year-old Tarren Wolsmann was located by Officers at McDonald’s.  Police say she refused to leave the property.

Officers learned that while Wolsmann was in the restaurant, she had grabbed a customer’s purse and demanded that someone transport her to the hospital.  She requested that officers have an ambulance dispatched to the scene.

While waiting for an ambulance, Wolsmann entered a Lincoln County Sheriff’s patrol vehicle, from which she had to be physically removed and restrained.

Due to her combative and delusional state, she was transported to Great Plains Regional Medical Center by Police.  While at the Emergency Room, Police say Wolsmann became voluntarily unresponsive and non-compliant with Police and medical staff, and slapped a hospital staff member.

At this time, she was placed in emergency protective custody.

Following an evaluation at the hospital, Wolsmann was charged with Attempted Theft of a Motor Vehicle, 2nd Degree Criminal Mischief and Assault of a Health Care Professional.  She was jailed at the Lincoln County Detention Center.
