(AP) — Firefighters have extinguished a blaze that broke out above a bakery in downtown Beatrice.

No injuries were reported from the fire, which was reported just before 11 a.m. Friday.

Fire officials say the damage was minimal in what was an all but empty room on the second floor above Sunrise Bakery.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
