A North Platte man picked up his fourth drunken driving charge over the weekend.
At around 12:40 a.m. on Saturday, an Officer with the North Platte Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a white Nissan in the 2100 block of West 4th, after the vehicle made an improper turn.
The officer smelled alcohol on the breath of the driver, 29-year-old Joshua Simmons, and conducted a DUI investigation.
Following the investigation, the Officer determined there was probable cause to arrest Simmons for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor-4th Offense and Driving Under Revocation.
Simmons was transported to the Lincoln County Detention Center and jailed.
