DENVER (AP) — Michael Cuddyer extended his hitting streak to 27 games with an RBI single in the eighth inning Sunday of the Colorado Rockies’ game against the San Francisco Giants.
He hit a 2-1 pitch from Sandy Rosario up the middle, and later scored on a double by Willin Rosario.
Cuddyer’s streak is the longest in Rockies’ history and in the majors this season. He has reached base safely in a franchise-record 46 straight games.
