(AP) — Authorities say a grain elevator explosion in Nuckolls County over the weekend was an accident.

The state Fire Marshal’s office on Monday declined to provide more details about what caused the Friday explosion in the unincorporated community of Sedan, about five miles southeast of Edgar.

An employee for Aurora Co-Op, which owns the elevator, and a farmer were injured in the explosion. Additional information about their conditions was not available.
