(AP) — The newest Nebraska visitors’ center is open in Kimball, and more than 650 people have been helped.
The visitors’ center is in a building that used to house a Burger King at the main Kimball exit on Interstate 80. It has been open three weeks.
Kimball County Tourism Director Jo Caskey says the center has brochures for most Nebraska attractions and a number of attractions in Wyoming, Colorado and South Dakota.
Volunteers help staff the center, but Caskey is spending much of her time there.
