(AP) — A 47-year-old man has been arrested, accused of killing a man at the Hells Angels’ Motorcycle Club building in Omaha.
Omaha police say Jay Witt was arrested about 9:30 a.m. Monday in a stolen vehicle on the east side of Omaha. He was taken into custody without incident.
A warrant for second-degree murder had been issued Aug. 6, alleging that Witt had killed 48-year-old William Furlong, of Omaha. Furlong’s body was found at the club on July 14.
Dakota County Sheriff Chris Kleinberg told the Sioux City (Iowa) Journal that Witt had stolen the car around 8 a.m. Monday. Kleinberg says the car’s on-board security system was used to track the car to Omaha.
