(AP) — A 60-year-old man who was pulled from an eastern Nebraska lake has died.
His wife, Jenny, said her husband, James “Jim” Lee, died Wednesday after he was taken off life support.
Jim Lee, of Greenwood, had been hospitalized since his rescue Sunday afternoon from Branched Oak Lake northwest of Lincoln.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says Jim Lee had gone into the water to retrieve his personal watercraft, which had floated away. Boaters later found him, pulled him out of the water and called 911. Bystanders worked to revive him before medics arrived.
