Travel in North Platte may become a bit more cumbersome as crews begin working on a project on Leota Street just west of Jeffers Street..

City officials said Thursday that the project is expected to take around three weeks to complete.

Motorists are urged to use an alternate route during the project.  Officials also ask that extreme caution be used in and around the construction area.
