A 20-year-old North Platte man will spend the next 10 to 20 years in prison after he drove through Perkins Family Restaurant in North Platte causing serious injuries to a man.
Tanner Matthies was sentenced yesterday in Lincoln County District Court for First Degree Assault.
Prosecutors say Matthies drove his car through the restaurant in March 2013 after he thought Blake Strecker had been with his girlfriend.
Matthies struck Strecker and caused serious injuries including a fractured skull.
Serious damage was also done to the restaurant.
