Phillip James Harris, 60, of Middletown, CT, formerly of North Platte, NE, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at Middletown.

Phillip was born November 5, 1952, to James Melvin and Bonnie Aline Randall Harris in Ogallala, NE. The family moved to North Platte in 1970.

He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Harris, of Ogallala; his children, Eric (Stephanie) Harris, of Great Mills, MD, Patrick (Natasha) Harris, of Oshkosh, WI, Dyan (Domonic) Cantelmi, of Castle Rock, CO, Gary Blythman, of Tennessee, and their mother, Loretta Harris, of North Platte; two sisters, Marcie Jensen, of Beloit, KS, and Bethany Harris, of Omaha, NE; 14 grandchildren; his stepmother, Patty Harris (Jack) Price, of North Platte; and other family.

Phillip was preceded in death by his father, James; and two sons, Casey and Michael Harris.

Cremation was chosen. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013, at Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore. Condolences may be shared at odeanchapel.com.
