MCCOOL JUNCTION, Neb. (AP) — A 28-year-old man has died while racing in eastern Nebraska.
The Lincoln Journal Star reports (http://bit.ly/1daleDK) that 28-year-old Brent Drohman, of Davenport, was driving a B-modified car at Junction Motor Speedway just west of McCool Junction on Saturday. His family says an autopsy showed Drohman suffered a massive heart attack before his car rammed into a track wall.
His cousin Jed Williams says Drohman “passed away doing what he loved.”
Drohman is survived by his wife, an 8-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son.
